FAQs
Where do we meet?
Meet at Victoria Meeting Center, 406 Canal Street.
How many people are required for the tour to run?
Tours with less than 4 people booked might be cancelled or rescheduled.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements?
Please bring your ID if you plan on enjoying any alcoholic beverages on the tour. You must be 21 to consume alcohol.
Are children allowed?
Children are allowed but younger ones may not have a good time. Check out our kid-friendly family tours with special dishes and fewer stops to accommodate the shorter attention spans. Private tours can be arranged for groups of 4 or more.
Where should I park?
Parking is available behind the building where we meet - enter the lot from Palmetto Street. Or park in one of the public parking lots around Canal Street between US1 and Riverside Drive. The closest public lot is behind the yellow house at 405 Canal Street. There is a driveway between the house and New Smyrna Athletic Club. Some street parking is available with a 4 hour limit.
Will we start and end in the same place?
Probably not, but it won't be far away. Your guide will direct you back to the starting point or to where you want to go next.
How much walking is involved?
About a mile and a half. Usually less.
Is my ticket transferable?
Yes. To transfer your ticket, send me a text or call with your name and the person's name that will be taking your spot. Please also include any dietary restrictions.
Are dogs allowed?
A dog-friendly tour could be organized with enough interest. Please let me know if this is something you'd like to attend!
What happens if it rains?
You might get wet :) Bring an umbrella or poncho. Usually afternoon rains are quick and we'll move as fast as we can between stops if it's raining. We also keep an eye on the weather report and can sometimes reschedule for the day before or after so make sure we have a good local contact phone number to get in touch with you.
What about a hurricane?
We'll cancel the tour and reschedule for a future date or provide a refund. Make sure you provide a good contact phone number so we can get in touch with you.
Can you accommodate groups?
Yes! Private tours can be arranged for groups of 4 or more. If you have more than 15 in your group, we may split you into smaller groups, and can come back together at the last stop. Bridal showers, office parties, bachelorette parties, family reunions, Sunday Funday, neighborhood nights, whatever your occasion, we'll make sure your group has a great time!
How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
